The Festival du Monastier takes place each summer in Le Monastier sur Gazeille, in the Haute Loire, and has brought together brass ensembles for more than 37 years, with concerts spread across several venues in the village. The program is paired with training workshops open to musicians, run by a volunteer organization focused on musical transmission as much as performance.
