Festival gwo-ka

The gwo ka festival takes place in Sainte Anne, a town on the southern coast of Grande Terre in Guadeloupe. It showcases gwo ka, a Guadeloupean musical and dance tradition rooted among the island's population of African descent, built around the ka drum and the vocal call and response known as lewoz.
