Festival Internacional Cervantino

Held annually in the colonial city of Guanajuato, this festival is one of Latin America's foremost performing arts events, combining music, theater, dance and visual arts with artists from around the world. Originating in the 1970s around performances inspired by Cervantes, it has grown into a multidisciplinary program spanning classical music, jazz, world music and Mexican traditions.
