Festival Internacional de Jazz de La Paz

Known as Festijazz, this jazz festival has taken place in La Paz every September since it was founded in 1987 by Bolivian musician Walter Gómez. Over the years it has hosted more than a hundred groups from the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa, with especially consistent participation from Swiss, Brazilian and American artists. Alongside concerts, the festival also offers workshops and master classes for young musicians and students.
