Festival Internacional de Música de Belém

The Festival Internacional de Música do Pará (FIMUPA) is held every year in Belém, capital of Pará state in northern Brazil. Founded in 1988 and run by the Fundação Carlos Gomes, it is dedicated to classical and instrumental music and stands as the leading event of its kind in the Amazon region. The festival brings together local musicians and international guests for concerts, masterclasses, and educational exchanges, staged in heritage venues such as the Theatro da Paz and the Igreja de Santo Alexandre.
