Festival Internacional de Música de Morelia

The Festival Internacional de Música de Morelia, also known as the Miguel Bernal Jiménez Festival after the local composer, runs each November across the squares, palaces and cultural venues of Morelia's historic center in Michoacán. Founded in 1989, it brings together artists from a dozen countries around classical and chamber music, with each edition built around a featured guest country or region. It is regarded as one of Latin America's leading classical music gatherings.
