Overview
About
Held in and around Aného and neighbouring Glidji, near Lomé, this festival takes place in what is considered a historic cradle of vodoun in Togo. Launched in the mid 2000s, it brings together priests, initiates, and visitors from Africa and its diaspora around ritual ceremonies, drumming, and sacred dances honouring the vodoun deities. What sets it apart is its spiritual and communal character, conceived as a pilgrimage of reconnection to African heritage rather than a conventional concert.
