About
The Festival International des Musiques Juives has taken place every year in Lyon, at the Espace Hillel, usually in November, since it began in 2009. Supported by the Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Shoah, it offers an eclectic programme of concerts spanning the diversity of Jewish music, from klezmer and Judeo-Andalusian music to Yiddish and Ladino song. The festival takes audiences on a journey from the shores of the Mediterranean to the far reaches of Yiddish-speaking lands.
