About
Festival MADA, short for 'Música Alimento da Alma' (Music, Food for the Soul), has been held annually in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, since the late 1990s, created by cultural producer Jomardo Jomas. It is regarded as one of Brazil's leading independent and contemporary music events, celebrating genre diversity through a lineup mixing emerging acts with established names from the local, national and international scene. Staged at the Arena das Dunas, it draws tens of thousands of attendees each edition.
