About
Founded by composer Gilberto Mendes, this contemporary and classical music festival has been held in Santos, Brazil, since 1962, with parallel concerts in São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto and Campinas. Now run by the University of São Paulo's music department in Ribeirão Preto, it remains a key gathering for Brazilian experimental composition.
