Festival Nacional de la Canción Boliviana

The Festival Nacional de la Canción Boliviana, known as "Aquí canta Bolivia," is held every year in Oruro, Bolivia, at the Teatro Internacional Oruro, one of the country's largest venues. Founded in 1969 by Omar Tórrez Reque and Mario Lizarazu, it promotes Bolivian song and showcases emerging artists across a folk and popular music repertoire. Regarded as a true launching pad for talent, it has featured performers such as Los Kjarkas, Yuri Ortuño, Luzmila Carpio and Zulma Yugar, and has been declared state cultural heritage under Law No. 500.
