Festival Nacional del Malambo

The Festival Nacional del Malambo has been held every year in Laborde, in Argentina's Córdoba province, since it was founded in 1966. Devoted to malambo, an emblematic dance of Argentine folklore, it brings together dancers and musicians from every province over six nights each January for a major national competition. The event is accompanied by craft fairs and traditional food stalls, drawing the whole town into a festive celebration of local identity.
