Festival Nacional del Tango de La Falda

Held annually in La Falda, in Córdoba province, this festival dates back to 1965, when local residents launched it to put the mountain town on the tourist map as Argentina's tango capital. The event spreads across the city with street milongas, tango cafes, dance seminars, exhibitions and contests, bringing together orchestras, singers and dancers from across the country.
