FESTIVAL OLYMPUS ORGANIZATION

Founded in 1972 in the Pieria region, this music and theatre festival is one of the largest cultural events in northern Greece, staged every summer (July and August) by the non-profit organization OR.FE.O based in Katerini. Performances spanning ancient and contemporary theatre, dance theatre, music and visual arts take place at historically significant sites such as the ancient theatre of Dion and Platamon Castle. The organization partners with the national theatres of Athens and Thessaloniki.
