Festival Peninsula / Félsziget

Peninsula / Félsziget was a summer music festival held on a riverside site in Târgu Mureș, Transylvania, launched in the early 2000s by part of the team behind Budapest's Sziget Festival. It grew into one of Romania's largest gatherings, with stages spanning rock, metal, pop, electro, hip hop, folk and jazz, and a lineup mixing local and international acts. Known for its multicultural atmosphere bridging Romanian and Hungarian communities, the festival later relocated to Cluj-Napoca before ending.
