Festival República do Reggae

República do Reggae takes place in Salvador, capital of the Brazilian state of Bahia, where it began in 2003 on Ipitanga Beach before moving to its current venue, WET Eventos. Now the largest reggae festival in Latin America, it brings together international reggae icons alongside major Brazilian names from the reggae and axé scenes. Over the years its lineup has included legends such as Gregory Isaacs, Lucky Dube, Alpha Blondy and Bunny Wailer, as well as Brazilian artists like Natiruts and Edson Gomes.
