Festival Spoffin

Festival Spoffin used to take place every year on the last weekend of August in the historic centre of Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Launched in 2010, this international street and outdoor theatre festival brought together dance, circus and theatre in a mix of carefree summer fun and thought-provoking work, with a pay-what-you-decide model letting the audience choose what to pay after watching. No 2026 edition went ahead, though, after the municipality changed its subsidy rules.
