About
Held every year in Ségou, on the banks of the Niger River, this festival dates back to 2005 and has grown into one of West Africa's major cultural gatherings. Beyond concerts, it features theatre, dance, visual arts, talks and a craft market, built around a spirit of dialogue and peace. Well known African artists such as Femi Kuti, Ismaël Lô and Tiken Jah Fakoly have appeared on its bills over the years.
