Festningen

Festningen is Central Norway's largest music festival, held in Trondheim over two days since 2018 within the historic setting of Kristiansten Fortress, overlooking the entire city. Its lineup leans toward EDM, pop, hip-hop and urban music, and it sold out both days at its very first edition, prompting the site to expand in the years that followed. The old fortress perched above Trondheim gives this large, mainstream-oriented festival a distinctive backdrop.
