Founded in 1965 in Harstad, north of the Arctic Circle, Festspillene i Nord-Norge takes place each year around the summer solstice, under the midnight sun. The festival brings together music, theatre, dance and visual arts across several venues in the town, with an international programme and a strand dedicated to emerging young artists.
