Fête de l'Europe

The Fête de l'Europe is organised every May by the Mouvement Européen and Jeunes Européens, notably on Place de la République in Paris, to mark the Schuman Declaration of 9 May 1950. The day combines associative and institutional stands, debates, family activities and a large closing concert celebrating Europe. Free and open to everyone, the event is meant as a festive, civic gathering around the European project.
