Fête de la Cerise et festival de Bandas

The Cherry Festival and Bandas Festival is held every spring in Céret, a Catalan town in the French Pyrénées-Orientales known for its cherry harvest. Over two days it combines a gourmet market, parades of bandas (traditional southern brass bands), aperitif concerts and playful contests such as cherry-pit spitting. The event also celebrates Catalan traditions, including sardana dances, giant figures and Spanish dance shows.
