Fête du château

The Fête du Château is held every year on the Château hill in Nice, a weekend combining free concerts with grassroots political engagement in a lively, popular atmosphere. Organized by the Alpes-Maritimes communist federation, it brings together regional and national acts across genres such as rock, chanson, electro, rap and world music. With a history spanning several decades, the festival traditionally pairs culture and conviviality with civic debate.
