Fiesta - tango argentino

Fiesta is an international festival devoted to Argentine tango and the performing arts, held every summer in the medieval hilltop village of Bormes-les-Mimosas in the Var. Over several days it brings together musicians and dancers from Argentina and beyond for concerts, milongas, workshops and demonstrations staged through the village's narrow streets. The event also pays tribute to Hippolyte Bouchard, a local corsair who took part in Argentina's independence, giving it a distinctive historical dimension.
