Fifres de Garonne

The Fifres de Garonne festival is held every June in a wooded setting along the Garonne river, in Saint-Pierre-d'Aurillac (Gironde). Founded in 1991 by the Sous-Fifres association, it celebrates the fife and traditional music while also welcoming flutes from around the world. The event blends concerts, food, poetry and conviviality, bringing together musicians, artists and locals around a shared community project.
