The Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music and Dance takes place at the Trumansburg Fairgrounds in New York State and has run since the early 1990s. It combines folk and world music with a dance program and cultural workshops, in a format built around on-site camping. A sister event, the Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival, extends the same nonprofit network in North Carolina.
