About
Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann is the world's largest annual festival of Irish traditional music, organised by Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann since the 1950s. For a full week the host city (Belfast in 2026) fills with concerts, street sessions, dancing and singing in pubs, cafes and cultural venues, alongside more than 180 traditional music competitions. Most events, including the outdoor concerts and street sessions, are free and draw huge crowds from Ireland and abroad.
