Folklandia

Folklandia is Finland's largest wintertime gathering for folk music and dance lovers, held every January aboard the Silja Europa ferry as it sails between Helsinki and Tallinn. During the roughly 24-hour crossing, around ten stages host a continuous lineup of bands for several thousand festival-goers. Run by the Finnish Youth Association, the event turns the ship into a floating festival devoted to traditional and popular folk music.
