Fono Festival takes place on the Université Laval campus in Quebec City, in a wooded setting that includes an electronic stage set up in the forest. Founded by Louis Bellavance, former programmer of the Quebec City Summer Festival, it presents pop, electronic, indie and hip-hop acts across several stages, mixing local and international artists alongside talks.
