About
Founded in 2001 near Salzburg, the Frequency Festival relocated in 2009 to Green Park in St. Pölten, Lower Austria. Backed by Austrian public radio station FM4, it mixes rock, electronic and hip hop acts, drawing heavily on the German and Austrian alternative and indie scenes alongside international headliners. It ranks among the country's largest music gatherings.
