Funky Elephant

Funky Elephant Festival is held in Helsinki, Finland, and stands as one of the country's leading events for black rhythm music, with a distinctly underground edge. Running since 1994 and organised by the Funky Amigos association, it spreads funk, soul, jazz, hip hop, reggae, afrobeat and world music across several stages, mixing live performances with DJ sets. The festival has seen breaks over the years but continues to champion cultural diversity and Black music styles in Finland.
