Garorock

Founded in 1997 in Marmande, in the Lot-et-Garonne department, Garorock started out on a punk and rock lineup before broadening its programming from the mid 2000s to hip hop and later electronic and pop music. The festival now takes place on the Plaine de la Filhole, a 40 hectare grassy site on the banks of the Garonne river, after being held in the town's former slaughterhouses in its early years.
