George Town Festival

George Town Festival is a multidisciplinary arts and culture festival held every year in George Town, on the island of Penang in Malaysia, staged across historic buildings, back alleys and theatres of the UNESCO World Heritage city. Launched in 2010 to mark that heritage listing, it brings together music, dance, theatre, visual art, photography and film with local and international artists. It is especially known for its Art Walk, which turns George Town's streets into an open air gallery.
