About
The Gidi Culture Festival, also known as Gidi Fest, is a music and arts festival held on the Victoria Island beachfront in Lagos, Nigeria, over the Easter weekend. Co-founded in 2014 by Chinedu Okeke and Oriteme Banigo, it has hosted acts like Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and Diplo alongside rising talent, and combines the music with fashion showcases, art exhibitions and African food stalls. Often dubbed Lagos's answer to Coachella, it draws a young crowd from across Nigeria and the diaspora.
