Goa Sunsplash

Goa Sunsplash is a festival dedicated to reggae and sound system culture that grew from a small beach gathering in 2016 into Asia's biggest event of its kind. Held in January by the sea, it brings together live acts and sound systems spanning reggae, dancehall and dub, with genre figures such as Johnny Osbourne, Luciano and Macka B having taken part over the years. The atmosphere combines late-night sessions, workshops and beach life, in keeping with the communal spirit of sound system culture.
