About
The Goiânia Noise Festival has taken place annually in Goiânia since 1995, now hosted at the Oscar Niemeyer Cultural Center, and ranks among Brazil's largest independent rock festivals. Over several nights it offers free programming spanning alternative rock, punk, hardcore, rap, reggae and manguebeat, bringing together established and emerging acts. Free entry (in exchange for a food donation) has made it a popular, intergenerational gathering for the city's independent music scene.
