Overview
About
The Gouel An Eost festival (Breton for harvest festival) takes place every year in Plougoulm, in northern Finistère, and has run since 1981. Centred on the Prat Coulm site, it celebrates Breton and Celtic culture with old-fashioned traditional threshing, a large costumed parade bringing together hundreds of participants alongside bagpipe bands and Celtic circles, concerts on several stages, and a fest-noz. The event draws several thousand visitors each year.
