Gurtenfestival

Gurtenfestival has taken place since 1977 on the Gurten hill just outside Bern, reached by funicular, where several open-air stages are set up in a wooded setting overlooking the city. Its lineup mixes pop, rock and hip-hop, pairing international headliners with Swiss artists. It ranks among the country's longest-running open-air festivals.
