Gutter Island

Gutter Island Garage Rock Festival is held every other year (even years) at the old Masnedøfortet fortress on a small island near Vordingborg in southern Denmark. Founded in 2000, two years after the military left the fort, it brings together Danish and international garage rock acts over three days in August. A defining feature is that there is no separate backstage area, with performers camping alongside the audience.
