Győrkőcfesztivál

Every summer, Győrkőcfesztivál turns the historic centre of Győr, in northwestern Hungary, into a giant playground for children, spread across about ten venues with nearly a thousand free programmes. Organised by the Vaskakas Puppet Theatre, it offers concerts, puppet shows, craft workshops, science games and storybook characters, with the token entry fee being a smile or a self-portrait drawn by the child. It is the country's largest free open-air children's festival, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each year.
