Hardly Strictly Bluegrass

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has been held every fall in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California, since it was founded in 2001 by financier Warren Hellman. This free, non-commercial festival brings together more than a hundred artists across multiple stages, spanning bluegrass as well as rock, country, blues and zydeco, drawing several hundred thousand visitors. Steve Earle has been a regular performer since the early years.
