Healing Appalachia

Healing Appalachia takes place at the Boyd County Fairgrounds in Ashland, Kentucky, where it moved in 2025 after starting out in West Virginia. Founded in 2018 by singer Tyler Childers, this folk, country and Americana festival supports the fight against the opioid crisis in Appalachia. It has drawn crowds of up to 20,000 and hosted artists such as Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell and Sierra Ferrell.
