HIFA - Harare International Festival of the Arts

HIFA takes place every year in central Harare, Zimbabwe, across several venues, and has run since it was founded in 1999. Over a week it brings together theatre, dance, visual arts, poetry and music, with a lineup mixing local and international acts spanning Senegalese pop, jazz, traditional African music and contemporary sounds. It stands as one of southern Africa's largest multidisciplinary festivals, known for its street atmosphere and artistic diversity.
