Overview
About
Ijahis idja has taken place every year in Inari, in Finnish Lapland, since 2004. It is Finland's only festival dedicated entirely to Sámi music, blending traditional joik singing, emerging artists and indigenous music from further afield. Beyond the concerts, the event includes a craft market, workshops for children and traditional games, set against the backdrop of the Arctic summer's midnight light.
