Overview
About
Founded in 1971 by the Joensuu Pop Musicians' Association, Ilosaarirock is among the oldest rock festivals still running in Europe. It takes place in Laulurinne park on the shore of Lake Pyhäselkä in North Karelia, with a lineup spanning rock, metal, pop and hip hop, mixing international headliners with Finnish acts.
