International Festival - Puppet on the stage

The International Street Puppet Theatre Festival "Lalka na Scenie" (Puppet on the Stage) is held each year at the New Town Market Square (Rynek Nowego Miasta) in Warsaw. European puppet companies present free open-air shows, featuring both marionettes and hand puppets, aimed at children and adults alike, with a new performance staged every hour during the festival days. The event is run by the Meritum Foundation, with Ivan Gontko as artistic director.
