International Florence Price Festival

The International Florence Price Festival (Price Fest) celebrates the musical legacy of African American composer Florence Price. Launched as a digital event in 2020 before taking a live form based in Washington, D.C., it combines concerts, talks and educational programming built around Price's classical and orchestral output alongside the work of other historically marginalized composers. It aims to bring wider recognition to a figure long overlooked in American classical music.
