Istanbul Jazz Festival

The Istanbul Jazz Festival, organized every July by the İKSV foundation since 1994, takes jazz out of concert halls and into the city's historic sites, streets, tram lines and ferries. Its programming extends beyond classical and modern jazz to Latin and Nordic jazz, electronic-jazz crossovers, and genres such as rock, pop, reggae and funk. Over the years it has hosted leading international artists alongside prominent figures of Turkish jazz.
