Jarasum Jazz Festival

The Jarasum Jazz Festival takes place on Jaraseom Island, in the Bukhan River near Gapyeong, roughly 70 kilometers northeast of Seoul. Launched in 2004, it has grown into South Korea's leading jazz gathering, with outdoor stages set among open grassy fields and autumn foliage. Its international lineup includes a yearly 'Focus Country Program' spotlighting the jazz scene of a chosen guest nation.
