JazzOgnons

JazzOgnons brings a New Orleans-style street party to downtown Laval, in Mayenne, around Place de la Trémoille, Rue du Pont-de-Mayenne and the forecourt of Saint-Vénérand church. Founded in 2018 by a collective of local amateur bands, it opens with a brass band parade and champions a popular, participatory brand of jazz rooted in neighbourhood conviviality.
